Photography Workshop at Singapore Teacher’s Academy for the aRts

2019 // A 4 session photography-education based workshop was shared with teachers from the Ministry of Education to introduce possible ways of bringing in strategies to teach photography in the classroom in a playful way!

The topics covered included commercial, fine art photography as well as digital manipulations through app and desktop programmes.

2 photography workshop was held for teachers to experience a taste of the various activities proposed in the publication. The 2 session workshops included the activity

1) Poetic photography and

2) 5 step process with Photographs

Naval Base Secondary School and Nee Soon South Collaboration

A Singapore Bicentennial Project that saw the conversion of student’s drawings into a 15m mural at Block 813 Yishun Ring Road

Taman Jurong Photography Mural project with Zone A RC

A photo mosaic that was paired with a workshop to teach residents photography skills, that summed up in a photography mosaic wall piece. The mosaic included images taken by residents, as well as images that were taken of residents.
